The Volunteer Program
Historic St. Mary’s Mission, Inc. relies not only on donations, tour fees and gift shop sales, but most importantly it relies on the Volunteers who generously give of their time. Volunteers are the backbone of the operation of this historic site and without their generosity it would not be possible to share it with visitors and preserve it for future generations.
Ways to Volunteer
Sign up to help with the good works at Historic St. Mary’s Mission. Volunteer opportunities include: Tour Guide, Photographer, Social Media Specialist, Grant Writing, Archival and Data Entry, Flower Bed Gardening, Gift Shop/Greeter and Fund Raising.
Volunteers choose available shifts, usually once or twice a month, more if preferred. No one is asked to commit to the full open season of 6 months. New Gift Shop and Tour Guide volunteers receive one-on-one interaction and guidance until the person is ready to fill the position. All volunteer positions are flexible to meet your interests and skills.
