Author Susan (Laber) Hintz is a graduate of Columbia Falls High School, and Montana State University.  She participates in community bands, and combines her interest in band, local history and genealogy to present the history of the 25th Infantry Band at Fort Missoula, with biographies of the directors and bandsmen.
